The Knysna Speed Festival finished off this weekend with the main event – the Simola Hill Climb.
Hundreds of car/ racing fans braved the muddy parking to watch a large variety of vehicles roaring up the hill.
I went through on Sunday with my ‘petrol heads’ and they really enjoyed the racing, especially watching the cars ‘appear’ under the pedestrian bridge.
The spectator areas were well organised and there were plenty of food a stalls, a children’s play area and of course the very necessary Mitchell’s Brewery beer garden.
I hope that the event/ festival continues to grow and entertain us year after year.
Hats off to the Knysna Speed festival organisers, Simola Hotel & Spa and Prime Security, you have made us proud!
