So you are on holiday and it is great. But the kids (and adults) are restless, a bit sun burned and need some alternative entertainment.
Why not go to the movies?
Nothing keeps the young ones still and quiet like a big screen! (Even teenagers like the movies but don’t try to get them to admit it)
We have two theatres in the area were you can generally re-watch your favourite new releases or catch ones you missed (We get movies a little later than the main centres).
The Plettenberg Bay Movie house is independent and you can generally find their schedule on their Showme page
In the Garden Route Mall (George) there is a Ster Kinekor. You can find their schedule and make online bookings here: www.sterkinekor.com . From experience I would advise booking in advance to avoid disappointment.
This week in George the littlies can enjoy either “Surfs 3D” or “Turbo” while adults can enjoy a range of choices including three musically inspired options “A late Quartet”, “Musiek vir die Agtergrond” (South African Afrikaans language film – “Background Music”) and “Behind the Candelabra”. The South African content does not end there. You can also watch “Nothing for Mahala” a deep comedy and another Afrikaans offering “Molly & Wors”.
“Turbo” is also playing in Plett.
So bookmark those pages and keep them for a rainy or crazy day. Nothing lifts the spirits and eases tensions like popcorn!
