Many Plett events aim to stimulate the creative spirit in all of us. Influences for these artists include impressionism and the graphic arts. Subject matter for this exhibition (entitled ‘Canvas & Things’) ranges from still lifes to portraits and landscapes. Open Monday to Saturday from 10:am – 7:30pm. For more info: +27(0)824936811
Midweek Markets at The Old Nick Village
When it comes to Plett events, locals will testify that the midweek markets at old Nick are the way to go. Fresh produce is always on hand as well as culinary delicacies and homemade food stuffs. It might be a good idea to do your holiday shopping at the market to get fresh ingredients and artisan items that are sometimes hard to find at the supermarket chains. There’s plenty to see, craft stores, decor, enviro-friendly home care products, green energy solutions, and more. You can even take the kids with you (there’s a playground), or sit down at the restaurant and have a much deserved coffee after all your shopping. Every Wednesday from 10am -2pm.
