There are so many wonderful events on during the Pick n Pay Knysna Oyster Festival, many are very well known and supported.
Here are a few less common events that are guaranteed to provide loads of entertainment.

Canoe lapped race including a Stand up Paddle race
22 Km paddle – the main race K1
10 Km paddle – Juniors / Fun Race (any crafts welcome)
Kiddies Guppie race for under 12′s
SUP race – 6 Km / 10Km

What? Boccia Tournament for the Disabled
Regional disabled groups join in a game of Boccia: a test of muscle control and accuracy, requiring high focus and concentration. Open to athletes with cerebral palsy or related neurological conditions using a wheelchair, the leisure activity was introduced as a competitive sport at the New York 1984 Paralympic Games.
