World Belly Dance Day Performers
Performers of all levels share the stage as 5 Garden Route belly dance studios from Knysna, Plett, Mossel Bay and George converge for this one night event. This promises to be a night of dazzling colour, exotic beats and masterful rhythm.

Mini Arts, Culture Heritage Festival
Run by the Knysna Arts & Crafts Society, the Knysna Arts Gallery operates in Queen Street on the premises that used to house the ‘Old Gaol’ (Afrikaans for ‘Old Jail’). Paintings and hand made objects will be on exhibition, presented by the Knysna Cultural Forum, Knysna Municipality and Knysna Art Society. This showcase of local talent not to be missed!

Joburg Ballet Hospice Fundraiser
Johannesburg’s professional ballet company comes to Knysna for this fabulous fundraising event for the Knysna Sedgefield Hospice. Skilled dancers in both classic and contemporary dance will perform a masterclass on the morning of Wed 13th May. A matinee performance takes place at 3pm on Friday 15th May. Two shows on Saturday 16th May (11am and 5pm respectively) will round off the tour. This is for a charitable cause – what a wonderful event!

WoolMore Wild Knitting
Linda lends her expertise to show us how to do ‘Wild Knitting‘ as featured on her website. This technique is described as ‘very creative’, suitable for basic knitters.
