Don’t miss the Knysna forest! The majestic looming scale of the trees and the appeal of ‘the woods’ is sure to keep your kids intrigued. A forest tour on foot along one of the flatter trails is a wonderful family activity – and an educational one too. Plett has the great advantage of having a temperate climate; not too extreme and is therefore perfect for kids. The average midday temperatures for Plettenberg Bay range from 19.1°C (66.2 °F) in July to 26.8°C (80.2°F) in February.
