If you stop on your travels you’ll be in good company as up to 400,000 visitors pass through this Mall on a monthly basis. Shop till you drop!
With over 100 shops under one roof, the Garden Route Mall will have you spoiled for choice. Clothing shops and jewellery stores are abundant. The Garden Route can be a great place to find unusual pieces of jewellery. Furniture stores, health stores, art stores and gift shops are also waiting for you. Technology stores, the Post Office, Telkom (telephone service provider in South Africa) and pharmacies are available in the mall too. There’s even a medical service called ‘Walk in Doctor’ in case your feet hurt after all that shopping!
Eat & be merry
After shopping up a storm you’ll have worked up quite an appetite. There are roughly 16 various food, restaurants and grocery stores in the Garden Route Mall. The big names include McDonalds, KFC, Mugg and Bean, Ocean basket, Panarottis, Spur and Wimpy. Simply Asia, The Biltong Deli, and various coffee shops and fresh produce stores round out the selection. Fruit and Veg City is the main store for fresh produce. There are also various fresh produce markets in the Knysna and Plett area that are worth visiting if you get the opportunity to do so.
Attend a mall event
Throughout the year various events are held at the Garden Route Mall. These events include special pre-launch sales of clothes and merchandise. Book launches, fashion shows, live singers and expos are just some of the things that you may find happening at the mall.
See a movie
Big Blockbuster features are available on the big screen at 2 cinemas. Indulge in a hot buttered box of popcorn and watch the latest films in a comfortable air-conditioned Cinema. The Garden Route Mall Cinema offers a wide selection of show times throughout the day and into the evening. It’s very easy to find a movie suitable for the whole family too!
View an exhibition
At regular intervals through the year ‘tester’ tables of beauty products and mall merchandise are put out on display. These tables are manned by friendly faces waiting to answer any questions you may have regarding the display. Fashion shows may also be exhibited to showcase new seasonal merchandise.
