If you do not know Richard or Hadley personally then you may not know that the two of them are rugby MAD.

There is not a missed game on television (preferably in a pub with good beer) nor a missed chance to debate which of their personal favourite teams is the best and why.

Here is Richard enjoying a televised game while out in Cape Town:

Beer goggles?

Sport is a funny sort of a glue that holds people and communities together. Sometimes just for the duration of the match or when the next “clash” is discussed but when we stand and shout and cheer together the bond is distinct.

So the next time you are feeling at a loose end on a weekend and don’t want to sit home alone – go find a match.

This is what you can expect. The players may not be highly paid and the pitch may not be perfect but the fans are there and they are loving it! [Some of you may recognise the Outeniqua Mountains behind George in the background.]
