Sometimes we get to be tourists in our own backyard.
This past weekend, Richard, Claire and Hadley enjoyed an ocean fishing trip.

Richard had this to say: “Enricos Fishing Safaris run the launching service for the boats off Central Beach. Sunday’s mid-day tourist launch off the beach left the Ocean Blue boat turning props in the surf and so the owners and staff of EFS ran into the surf to give the boat a gentle nudge – and it was on its way! What a beautiful day to be out on the water; sunshine, clear views all the way up into the mountains and along the coast. Dolphins everywhere and a few whales playing at being secretive – go find them, they are there. Lots of people on the beach, in the surf, in the bars and restaurants. A world class coastal environment to play in and around.”

“An Albatross even landed next to our boat. Beautiful bird. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Albatross Huge wingspan -reaching up to 12 feet (3.7 m). Fought for space with greedy gulls but held it’s own.”
“While in the Keurbooms area we cannot help but admire the surf off Keurbooms beach; dolphins playing in the aves, Enricos Retaurant at Kettle Beach, some of the residential and holiday homes just off the beach including – Home by the Beach [and, soon to be Home by the Beach 2…..watch this space].”
