You may (or may not) have heard of Noetzie, a relatively secret hideaway on the Garden Route in South Africa. This small unknown beach, lies at the end of a long gravel road from Knysna’s N2. Hidden away from the hustle and bustle, Noetzie is a pristine conservancy with golden sands surrounded by unspoilt Fynbos (flora only found in South Africa) and lush forests. This little hideaway also boasts a dark watered lagoon formed by the mouth of the Noetzie river. This, combined with the breaking rollers, the rugged rocky headlands & the privacy, make it a really good “get-away-from-it-all” location and you won’t find hamburger stalls here!
Noetzie Bay House is the most easily accessed of our holiday rentals at Noetzie. Although made famous for it’s castles on the beach, which are an adventure in itself to get to, Noetzie Bay House is perched higher up on the top of the cliff with outstanding views over the lagoon, beach and Indian Ocean.
